This valve is primarily applied in the dairy, beverage, food, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and personal care industries. **Operating Principle** This manually operated butterfly valve typically remains in the closed position (NC). The valve consists of a main body, two sealing rings, two valve plates, and one or two mini-type valves, such as a drain valve or a CIP cleaning valve. The main valve has two seal rings and two plates that form a leakage cavity. Any leaking fluid can be collected in this cavity and discharged through the drain valve. Before opening the main valve, the leakage cavity must be cleaned first. When the main valve is open, the auxiliary valve is closed. **Technical Data**
