Working fire in Chicago, 4-27-19

This is from Steve Redick:

On Saturday (4/27/29) at 44th & Vincennes, I saw what looked like a fire burning on two floors in a concealed area. There wasn’t much to see up close, but I managed to capture a few decent photos that show a typical fire response. It seemed like all the fire trucks were using spare apparatus, which is interesting to note.

It's always interesting to see how crews respond when they're dealing with a multi-floor fire, especially in a hidden or enclosed space. The photos give a good sense of the situation and the efforts being made by the firefighters. It’s also notable that many of the units were using spare equipment, which might indicate a high level of preparedness or a need for maintenance on regular apparatus. These images are a valuable record of the event and the work done by the team on the scene.
