This cutting-edge automated system is set to be deployed at the Ludwig plant in BASF by the end of 2006, with plans for it to be introduced to both domestic and international customers in the following year. The technology is highly adaptable, allowing it to analyze a wide range of coating types—including single-component and two-component solvent-based coatings—as well as more specialized applications like coil coatings, waterborne coatings, and UV-curing coatings. This innovation is expected to significantly enhance efficiency and accuracy in quality control processes across the paint and coatings industry.
