Gravity Separation 6-S Shaking Table
Also known as a table concentrator, the 6-S Shaking Table is a gravity-based mineral separation device designed for fine minerals. It is highly effective in processing precious metals, base metals, rare metals, and non-metallic minerals. This equipment is widely used in the separation of Gold, Silver, Tin, Columbium, Tantalum, Titanium, Barium, Tungsten, Iron, Chrome, Manganese, Zircon, Lead, Zinc, Mercury, Copper, and Aluminum.
The process begins by feeding raw materials into the launder, where water is added to create a slurry with a concentration of 20% to 25%. The slurry then flows onto the deck. As the particles are rinsed and shaken, they become loose and layered. Due to differences in water pressure and friction on the bed surface, lighter particles move toward the tailing side, while heavier minerals move toward the concentrate side. This results in a fan-shaped distribution along the diagonal of the feeding launder, allowing for the production of multiple high-quality products.
One of the key advantages of the shaking table is its precision in separation. After the first pass, it can produce final concentrate, final tailings, and one or two types of middling products. The enrichment ratio of the concentrate is very high, especially when dealing with low-grade tungsten and tin ores, where it can reach up to 300 times. The effective particle size range for metallic ores is typically between 2 mm and 0.02 mm.

Construction and Mechanical Features:
The head motion of the Gandong Shaking Tables is enclosed and self-lubricated, made of heavy cast iron with an oil reservoir for splash lubrication. This design protects moving parts and minimizes operating and maintenance costs. The decks are built using a steel framework and covered with 16mm fiberglass, offering strength comparable to 70% of steel. They are wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and do not distort, ensuring long-lasting performance under various conditions.
Support types include traditional, 10# channel steel, or 20# channel steel. A wooden feed distributing box with a hopper and a long water box ensures even distribution of feed and water.
