MABAS, ILTF-1, & Air One at NIPSTA

The Cook County Board President made a visit to NIPSTA today, where they were given a comprehensive tour of various regional assets funded in part or fully by the county. The event showcased a wide range of emergency response capabilities, including several MABAS specialty units, the ILTF-1 conducting a multi-day training exercise, and Air One with four helicopters on-site. Additionally, NIPSTA fire training classes were actively taking place during the visit. Tim Olk and Larry Shapiro were present at the event and captured a series of compelling images that highlight the impressive resources available to the region.
