These bearings are made of a metal backing with sintered porous bronze and PTFE polymer as the working layer. The metal backing provides structural strength, while the bronze layer ensures strong mechanical bonding between the base and the bearing lining. The PTFE polymer offers excellent low friction even under dry conditions and is designed to function with minimal lubrication. This construction enhances dimensional stability and improves thermal conductivity, making it ideal for long-lasting performance without or with lubrication.

Structure
1. PTFE/Fibre mixture layer (0.01–0.03mm) creates an initial transfer film that coats the mating surfaces, forming a solid lubricant layer.
2. Sintered bronze powder layer (0.20–0.35mm) enhances thermal conductivity and acts as a reservoir for the PTFE/fiber mixture.
3. Low-carbon steel core provides high load capacity and excellent heat dissipation properties.
4. Copper/Tin plating (0.002mm thick) offers good corrosion resistance.
