Industry insiders believe that during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, a series of technical standards involving electric vehicles will be introduced. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is stepping up its efforts to formulate standards for power batteries and charging interfaces.

Currently, three series of recommended national standards such as “Connecting Device for Conductive Charging of Electric Vehicles” have been closed to the public and are expected to be announced shortly. The charging interface standard will soon be introduced.

According to statistics, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hefei and other cities have issued local standards for charging electric vehicles. In 2011, State Grid will also build an electric vehicle replacement service network in cities such as Beijing and Tianjin to accelerate the deployment and construction of electric vehicle charging and switching stations.

According to reports, according to the goals set forth in the previous industrial plan, by 2015, the annual sales of new energy vehicles in China will reach one million vehicles. In 2011, China’s private purchase of new energy vehicles will reach 10,000 vehicles.
