The test activity has set up 8 links such as fuel economy, low-temperature startup, Hercules performance, off-road experience, noise decibel measurement, and manipulation. More than 100 industry experts and Haval new and old customers have witnessed the whole process of testing. The event invited Shanghai Mater Professional Automotive Testing Company, which has long served Porsche, Audi and other brands, to conduct tests.

Sino-German cooperation 2.5TCI technology leadership

At the technical briefing session prior to the test event, Lin Fan, Sales Director of Bosch Diesel China in Germany introduced the power. He said: 2.5TCI is the product of cooperation between Great Wall Motor and Bosch, and it is also another two masterpieces launched on the basis of 2.8TC. Diesel vehicles meet the era of energy saving and emission reduction in China. Lin Fan used detailed data to illustrate three distinct features of this power: fuel economy, environmental protection, and strong power. He pointed out that the new Haval must be able to get users' favor in the terminal market, and also congratulates the Great Wall on taking the lead in using this leading power in China.

Jia Yaquan, general manager of Great Wall Motor’s domestic department, introduced the market situation of Haval and analyzed the development prospect of the new Haval new power. He said: “The 2.5TCI diesel engine has a 33% increase in torque and nearly 20% increase in power compared with traditional diesel engines. The fuel consumption is reduced by 10%, the maximum power is 80kW, the peak torque of 300N?m is achieved at 1800-2400rpm, and the constant speed fuel consumption of 60km is only 4.7L, reaching the Euro III standard."

Fuel consumption test equivalent to 100 kilometers 4.8L

The fuel-saving test was held at the Beijing F3 Hong Kong Circuit. In the fuel-saving test, two new Havers 2.5TCIs with external fuel tanks were installed along the track. The on-site wind speed was 3-4 levels. Two cars ran around the track after 20 laps, and the last odometer showed 51 kilometers. Under the supervision of the experts, the staff members have rigorously tested fuel consumption. The fuel consumption of the two vehicles is 2.4L and 2.6L, respectively. The calculation of the fuel consumption per 100 km of two cars is equivalent to 4.8L and 5.2L, respectively. On-site experts said that there are as many as 16 corners of the circuit, including 4 consecutive corners. This is not very different from the actual road conditions. As an SUV, it is very rare to have such an achievement.

-18°C Once ignition starts smoothly

Cold start is the hot point of activity. At 10:00 in the morning, a new Haver was driven into the large refrigerated truck by the staff, closed the refrigerated truck compartment, and switched on the refrigeration equipment.

After 4 hours, the refrigerated on-board thermometer showed that the temperature in the refrigerated compartment was -18°C, and a thin layer of ice had formed on the Haval body. A staff member wearing a down jacket and leather gloves entered the refrigerated vehicle and started the Haval inside. Amazingly, Harvard fired a successful one and slowly pulled out of the refrigerated car. The excellent performance won the applause from the scene. Lin Fan and other Bosch experts from Germany entered the in-vehicle experience that had just been frozen. Haval started smoothly, shifted gears faster, and returned on the F3 circuit for a week. A reporter from Russia said with emotion: "Even the coldest weather in Russia, this car is not a problem."

Cross-country, Hercules show amazing

Off-road functionality is indispensable for SUVs. In Harvard’s professional off-road field, Haffer swayed and successfully completed the tests. Many professional test drivers praised New Haval's performance: unexpectedly, they did not achieve this effect when testing other models on the same site.

The Hercules test was fascinating. A Haval used a steel rope to connect a full-size 55-seater bus. The total weight of the passenger and bus was 30 tons. Harvard dragged the bus slowly to start, and on a circular road with a ramp and a turn of 400 meters in total length, after a week's journey, he successfully returned to the finish line. The strong driving force of Haval's high torque was vividly reflected.

Excellent performance in noise, jitter, and manipulation tests

In the noise test section, the Haval 2.5 TCI diesel vehicle needs to be instantaneously accelerated to 80 km/h, and the brakes are quickly decelerated. The noise reaches the peak. These operations are personally controlled by media reporters and users on the train. The tester shows that the noise is up to 67. Decibels, a minimum of 62 decibels, this result is basically the same as the noise produced by an equivalent displacement gasoline engine. At the same time, in order to test the jitter situation of this car, according to the special mode of 1 block of 10 yards, 2 blocks of 20 yards, 5 blocks of 50 yards, the new Haver performed smoothly without strong jitter. It is understood that the 2.5TCI will be the first to match the new Haval that has undergone 27 upgrades and 108 optimizations. The price is between 123,300 and 152,300. This car interior has three different styles: passion, warmth, and coolness. The black "Cool Edition" interior is the first match on the Haval series. At the same time, New Haver will also match the 4G69 gasoline engine that meets Euro IV standards. The two most advanced powers in the future will be the main varieties of Haval.
