A few days ago, Xi'an Cummins employees cooperated with the Shaanxi Automobile City community to carry out environmental protection activities in the community to prevent haze and weather hazards. Through self-made exhibition shelves and on-site questionnaire surveys, Xi'an Cummins employees focused on the prevention of haze and weather hazards to the community residents, helping the community residents understand the importance of preventing air pollution and Cummins Engine's continuous efforts to improve the air environment. The activity received a positive response from community residents and further raised everyone’s awareness of air pollution control. As early as November, Xi'an Cummins also improved the awareness of environmental protection among college students through the cooperation between schools and enterprises. Xi'an Cummins collaborated with Xi'an Jiaotong University to start Cummins' first campus elective course on the campus of Jiaotong University: "Environmental 8 Credits Course" environmental challenge course. This course is based on the theme of 7 major energy topics in the health and safety environment. The purpose is to enable students to better understand the practical application of environmental protection, and to combine their own learning to broaden their horizons and apply what they have learned. Consciousness changes lives, and actions affect the environment. Cummins Xi’an Jiaotong University’s environmental protection elective course is used as a starting point for environmental protection and will be opened every year in Xi’an Jiaotong University. The purpose is to gradually take the concept of environmental protection into the campus and protect the environment from me.
