1) Check all parts to see if there is any defect. All sides of the paper pad should be coated with a thin layer of butter.
2) The skeleton oil seal must be filled with butter and put into the pump seat, then install the bearing and add 2/3 butter in the bearing.
3) Grease the shaft sleeve with a 0-ring seal.
4) Install the bearing cover on the motor seat, install the bearing and add 2/3 butter; put the paper pad, stop the oil ring, install the shaft and the support Jane and fix it with screws.
5) Put the paper pad, install the pump base, sleeve, key and impeller, tighten the impeller nut, and lay flat fittings.
6) Hit the pump shaft with a wooden hammer or aluminum boring head so that the shoulder of the shaft will bear against the bearing. Remove the bearing cover and align it with a paper pad. Install the bearing cover so that the axial turbulence is greater than 0.5mm. Use one finger to move the impeller to allow it to rotate flexibly.
7) Put the paper pad, install the pump casing, fix it with screws and install the filter. Then use your fingers to move the impeller and turn it flexibly to erect the assembly.
8) Install the key and driven coupling on the pump shaft, install the key and the active coupling on the motor shaft, and then fasten the motor and the motor seat with bolts. After installation, the axial clearance between the active coupling and the driven coupling should be 1~1.5mm. At this point, the installation of the mud pump is completed.
The vertical mud pump removal sequence is:
1) Disassemble the motor or fixing plate, outlet pipe.
2) Disassemble the volute and impeller nuts, lightly tap the back of the impeller and remove the impeller key.
3) Remove the driven coupling half, remove the key, and then disassemble the motor seat to separate it from the support cylinder.
4) Disassemble the pump base and support cylinder bolts to separate them.
5) Remove the sleeve and bearing from the shaft.
During the process of disassembling and installing the vertical mud pump, it is forbidden to hit the mating surface directly with a hammer, so as not to destroy the mating accuracy and reduce the assembly quality and the overall performance.
