World's largest propane dehydrogenation unit to be put into operation

It is reported that PetroLogistics company recently said that the company's Houston-based propane dehydrogenation (PDH) device will be put into operation in the third quarter of this year. The device converts propane to propylene and is designed to produce 1.2 billion pounds per year (545,000 tons/year) of propylene, which will become the world's largest PDH plant after it is put into operation.
