Yuchai ranked No. 9 among the top 100 Chinese machinery industry companies in 2010

On May 27th, 2011, “2011 China Top 100 Enterprises of Machinery Industry Top 30 Auto Industry Enterprises Information Conference and Machinery Industry Development Strategy Seminar” was held in Beijing. The conference released the list of the top 100 Chinese machinery industry companies in 2010. Yuchai Group ranked 9th, one place higher than the 2009 ranking.

The conference was hosted by China National Machinery Industry Federation and China Automobile Industry Association, and organized by China Mesh Economic Net. The conference released a list of top 100 enterprises in China's machinery industry and top 30 automotive companies in 2010. The meeting pointed out that during the "11th Five-Year Plan" period, China's machinery industry has greatly improved both in terms of industry scale, industrial structure, product level, and international competitiveness. The industrial scale of the machinery industry continues to grow rapidly. In the complex domestic and international economic environment in 2010, the production scale and economic efficiency of the top 100 machinery enterprises continued to maintain a good momentum of development. The revenue of the top 100 enterprises' main business was 1329.3 billion yuan, an increase of 30.66% year-on-year; the total profit realized was 97.2 billion yuan. Yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.61%. Among the top 100 companies, the income from the main business of 75 companies increased by double digits, and the growth rate of 18 companies exceeded 50%. In 2010, the added value of the machinery industry accounted for more than 9% of the country's GDP; the proportion of the national industry increased from 16.6% to 20.3%. The meeting also stressed that the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" is a period of new opportunities for strategic development of the machinery industry. It is hoped that the entire industry must seize the opportunity to speed up the transformation of the development mode and the adjustment of the industrial structure, and strengthen the capacity for independent innovation so as to foster a stronger and faster development. According to reports, the list of China's top 100 machinery enterprises is ranked according to the company's main business income. This time, there are also 17 companies ranking in Guangxi's Liugong Group. Yuchai Group ranks first among Guangxi enterprises.
