Hey everyone,
This is coming straight from Tim Olk. He just messaged me about a fire the Chicago Fire Department is currently handling at 11536 South Yale. Battalion 22, Engine 62, and Truck 27 are all on the scene right now trying to get things under control.
I've attached some photos Tim took to give you an idea of what it looks like over there. The first couple of images show the main action near the building. You can see the firefighters working hard to contain the flames and keep everything safe. In the third picture, you get a slightly different angle, giving a better view of the surrounding area.
It's always tough to see situations like this, but I'm glad the crews are doing their best to handle it quickly and safely. Let’s hope they can wrap this up soon without any major issues.
