Just got this update from Dave Weaver about a recent house fire in Aurora Township. Here's what he shared:

The fire was reported around the time it happened, and emergency services were quickly on the scene. From what I gather, the fire spread fairly rapidly, but thanks to the quick response from the firefighters, it was contained before causing too much damage.
Here’s a bit more detail based on some of the images Dave shared:
The first photo shows a Montgomery & Countryside FPD fire truck arriving at the scene. It’s clear they wasted no time setting up their equipment and getting to work. In another shot, you can see firefighters working with a hose, clearly focused on tackling the flames head-on. There’s also an image of Aurora FD Engine 10 with its lines off, ready for action—always reassuring to see such preparedness.
One of the most striking photos captures smoke billowing from the roof of the burning house. It gives a real sense of the intensity and urgency of the situation. You can also spot firefighters actively working to ventilate the roof in one of the later shots. Their teamwork is evident as they handle the situation with professionalism and skill.
