However, Dylan faces a challenge common to many young business owners: insurance costs. “Because I’m under 21, the insurance premiums for hauling with for-hire authority are just too high for us to turn a profit,†he explained. For now, the truck remains a showpiece and parade staple, bringing joy and admiration wherever it goes.
Even without hitting the highways full-time, Dylan takes immense pride in driving his firefighter-themed rig through local events. “It’s not just about the looks; it’s about representing my community and honoring those who protect it,†he shared.
