Southwest Research Institute Joins Weichai Engine Innovation Alliance
In December 2011, Weichai Group and the Southwest Research Institute of the United States signed an innovation alliance agreement in Weifang, and the Southwest Research Institute formally joined the Weichai IC reliability international technology innovation alliance. The International Technical Innovation Alliance for the Reliability of Internal Combustion Engines was established by Weichai Group to establish a platform for communication between Weichai and domestic and foreign research institutes and scientific research institutes in the field of internal combustion engines. It promotes one-on-one technical cooperation between Weichai and its members. Weichai technological innovation support system further enhances Weichai's R&D capabilities and product reliability. The Engine, Emission and Vehicle Research Institute is an important technical department of the Southwest Research Institute of the United States.
