The chemical products produced from natural alkaloids can provide adequate basic raw materials and greater profitability for the development of related industries. The development of the natural alkaloid industry can directly stimulate the development of related industries, achieving an annual indirect efficiency increase of more than 3 billion yuan. Relying on the strong advantages of natural alkali resources in China, Tongbai County has been advancing the development of the natural alkaloid industry since 1997, and its annual production capacity has gradually approached 1.5 million tons. China has initially built a natural alkaloid recycling economic base and an ecological base.
At present, the annual output of soda ash in China is more than 15 million tons, of which more than 90% are synthetic alkali produced by ammonia-alkali method and alkali method. Tongbai County's trona comprehensive processing project adopts the world's leading sesquisane process liquid phase water chemistry, one-water method, carbonization and other production processes, as well as deep fracturing connectivity and solution mining and other 14 international patented technologies. At the same time, the corrosive causticizing process in the original process was eliminated, and no lime was used in the production process, and no caustic sludge was discharged. The closed loop recycling of wastewater has achieved zero emissions and achieved a historic breakthrough in the processing technology of China's soda industry. After the project is put into production, the annual production capacity of the soda alkali produced by Tongbai will reach 3 million tons, which is equivalent to that of the FMI company in the United States. The project also plans to achieve an annual production scale of 5 million tons in the future.
It is understood that the project produces heavy soda ash. At present, the heavy soda ash produced in developed countries is more than 80% of the total soda ash production, while China's heavy soda ash has only 33% of total production. At the end of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan†period, the proportion of heavy soda ash in China should reach 60%. After the natural alkali processing project in Tongbai area is put into production, it will have a positive impact on the adjustment of the product structure of the soda ash industry.
