Drew Gresik responded to a MABAS 2nd Alarm this evening in Brookfield and shared these photos and details of the incident.
A fire was reported coming from the garage of a two-story ordinary home located in the 3500 block of Rosemear. The flames quickly spread, destroying the garage and then moving into the main structure of the house. As the situation escalated, the call was upgraded to a 2-alarm response. Eventually, it became a full MABAS Division 10 operation, with additional units from Divisions 11, 20, and 21 also arriving on scene. Firefighters stretched four lines and worked intensively throughout the event.
