"Pressure Machine Safety Technical Requirements" issued by the national standard

In mid-October of 2012, the national standard of GB28241-2012 "Hydraulic Machinery Safety Technical Requirements" formulated by Hefei Hegong Machine Tool Co., Ltd. was approved and issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Management Committee. The standard stipulates the terms and definitions of hydraulic presses, risk assessment, safety requirements and measures, inspections of safety requirements or measures, and use of information, which will help improve the safety of hydraulic presses in China.

The implementation of this standard will help improve the safety level of hydraulic presses in China and provide conditions for domestic hydraulic presses to enter the international high-end market. At the same time, the standard adopts scientific and effective protective measures against the harm that the hydraulic press may cause to personnel, and also imposes strict requirements on the environmental impact. The issuance of this standard will promote China's hydraulic press to make breakthrough progress in safety, and be in line with international advanced countries and regions.

The national standard for "Hydraulic Machinery Safety Technical Requirements" was proposed by the China National Machinery Industry Federation. The National Standardization Technical Committee of Forging Press Machinery is responsible for the joint drafting by Hefei Hegong Machine Tool Co., Ltd. and Other units.

The national standard for "Hydraulic Machinery Safety Technical Requirements" will be implemented on January 1, 2013.
