Device Overview
Before starting the pump, it must be filled with water. In traditional ground pump stations, automation has been a challenge, particularly in ensuring that pumps are always properly primed. Over the years, issues with automatic water filling technology have hindered full automation. To address this, a semi-underground self-priming pump station was built, but this approach not only increased construction costs but also introduced risks such as submersion of the pump. The YGSZ automatic water pump device was developed to solve these problems, enabling fully automated operation of ground-based pumps and laying the foundation for more efficient and safe water supply systems.
Device Usage and Features
This device is designed to automatically prime water pumps in a water station, ensuring that all pumps remain fully filled at all times. This means any pump can be started on demand without delay. By using this system, ground-based pump stations can operate automatically, eliminating the need for traditional semi-automatic filling methods. This results in significant cost savings during construction and enhances safety by reducing the risk of dry running. Working Principle of the Device
The device consists of two sets of vacuum equipment (one for backup), a vacuum chamber, a circulating water tank, a set of valves and piping, and an electrical control panel. Each pump’s exhaust port is equipped with a check valve that allows air to enter the vacuum chamber but prevents water from flowing back. When the vacuum level inside the chamber drops below a set threshold, the system automatically activates the vacuum device. As the vacuum increases, it reaches a maximum level, at which point the device stops. This cycle ensures that the vacuum remains within a controlled range, keeping each pump constantly primed and ready for immediate use.
