Luoyang, Henan Province, October 22 — According to a report from the Luoyang Municipal Government, on October 21, the first domestically developed automatic detection system for automobile chassis components was successfully launched by Libang Measurement and Control Equipment Co., Ltd. in the Luoyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Prior to this development, quality inspection in China's auto sector mainly focused on components like engines and gearboxes. However, the testing of critical chassis parts such as brake discs, reducers, and axles had been entirely dependent on foreign imports. In response to this challenge, major automakers including FAW, Second Automobile, SAIC, and Hafei reached out to Libang Measurement and Control Equipment Co., Ltd. with requests for local solutions. Since 2006, the company has invested heavily in research and development, overcoming numerous technical hurdles through years of dedicated effort. The successful launch of this advanced detection system not only enhances China's self-reliance in automotive manufacturing but also strengthens its position in the global auto supply chain.
