Yanzhou Petrochemical has implemented a four-in-one inspection system that combines grassroots self-inspection, weekly checks by professional teams, monthly evaluations by functional departments, and supervision by the publicity department. This integrated approach continuously enhances equipment and on-site inspections, improves inspection quality, and strengthens the service functions of internal departments, thereby improving overall equipment performance and site management.
Each workshop conducts self-inspections based on daily routines such as pre-shift checks, in-shift monitoring, and regular inspections by installation supervisors. Under the leadership of the workshop director and technical staff, these inspections are carried out in accordance with company standards, focusing on equipment and safety. Any identified issues are addressed promptly, and those that cannot be resolved immediately are documented and forwarded to relevant departments for further action.
Weekly professional inspections are led by department heads, who inspect 4–5 sets of equipment each week. These inspections focus on “low, old, and deep†issues related to safety, equipment, and on-site management. Professional engineers also conduct subcontractor inspections, combining both approaches to enhance oversight. This includes checking for cleanliness after construction and regularly evaluating the quality of work and site tidiness. Random assignments are avoided to ensure a clean and well-managed site.
Monthly inspections by functional departments involve large-scale assessments of production equipment, covering operation status, spare parts condition, lubrication management, and on-site practices. Identified problems are categorized, and corrective actions are implemented. These measures are strictly evaluated under the economic responsibility system to ensure accountability.
The publicity department’s supervisory inspections involve reporting on video footage of on-site issues during Monday meetings. Problems such as “low-quality and outdated†conditions are exposed, and unit leaders are required to review them at the meeting. Progress on rectifications is reported, and performance appraisals are strengthened. Management responsibilities are pursued, and the level of production management is continuously assessed to uncover deeper operational challenges and promote effective reforms.
Through this comprehensive inspection system, Yanzhou Petrochemical has achieved closed-loop management, significantly improving on-site management standards and laying a solid foundation for safe and efficient production.
